Blue Christmas (also called the Longest Night) in the Western Christian tradition, is a day in the Advent season marking the longest night of the year. On this day, our service honors people that have lost loved ones and are experiencing grief. This is a place for those of us who don’t feel we fit in with the joviality of the season, for people who need a space to honor the tough emotions you are feeling.

If you or someone you know is blue this Advent and Christmas, remember that you are not alone. Emmanuel (God with us) came down to earth to accompany us in our joy and in our sorrow. Consider joining us for our Blue Christmas service and may God be with you this Christmas season.
